Following the request for donations by our CEO, Mr. Charles Awuzie, we are want to announce that we have received a total of $151 from two individuals who donated $100 and N20, 000 respectively for Sahara Skills.

We are currently using Amazon’s AWS S3 to store site uploads while the site is hosted on a shared hosting plan owned by Gemsbok Hosting.

Our plan is first to migrate Sahara Skills to a High Capacity Dedicated Server, retain S3 storage and enable audio/visual uploads on the platform. The best dedicated server we can get from an American hosting company, will cost us about $3448 ANNUALLY and in a bid to avoid payment related server downtimes, we will like to pay for at least one year of dedicated server.

With a $151 donation, we are sure we will achieve our aim of of scaling our servers.
Mr. Charles has also pledged to make up the difference if by 30th December, we haven’t been able to receive the needed funds.
