For the sole interest of entrepreneurs who do Sell Digital Products, here are verifiable reasons why you should sell your digital products to international market, as written by business expert identified as Nwakanma Kenneth Chibuikem.
— It helps to build your brand name globally and gives you recognition in the international market.
— Selling to foreign countries in a foreign currency, gives you more value for your offers, especially with the inconsistency in the foreign exchange rates, thereby to an extent, not being affected by inflation.
— It gives you access to new markets penetration. This way you get to meet new and hungry people who might be interested in your offers.
— Less competitive markets. By selling to foreign markets, you might be lucky enough to get into a market where this is zero or very small percentage of competition giving you an edge for monopoly. With this, you can stay away from cut throat competition by other people in similar businesses like yours.
Overview insights on Business Ethics:
Using the word “Newsletter” in your mailing campaigns, reduces the chances of your emails hitting promotions tab.
Dear new entrepreneur, here is the harsh reality that comes with being a digital marketer. Ilearnt this the harsh way, but I don’t want you going through the same hurdles.
First, there seems to be a “clique” that if you seem not to be with, it seems like you are a nobody. Yes, if you are not among the “happening folks”, you won’t be taken serious, especially by people you are even selling to.
How to beat this?
Carve a niche for yourself that is a bit monopolistic. The niche should seem sort of impossible or tough to get in, for competitions, then when you have built your strength and made a name for yourself, you can, go into other niches, no matter how competitive they might seem. This way, you have built a name for yourself, you command respect and you can pull anyone to you with less efforts because at some point, your impossible feat is what they will need.
Second, most experts are unapproachable, and that’s a fact. But you have to deal with it and quit whining when they turn down your plea to meet up with them.
Till date, there are people I want to meet, that have made it hard for me to even see them. The solution to this is, keep your ears down to meet and greet events. Use that opportunity to meet with experts, if possible take pictures and hold INTELLIGENT conversations with them.
Third, there will be dark and lonely days. Days, you’ll go broke. Why? When we all started internet marketing, we had this “money will always come” mentality, making us blow money like crazy folks.
The solution is to have someone, or something that helps you monitor your expenses,. Whatever plans you feel will not give you money or build your reputation, and you know will hurt your pocket, learn to say no and cancel it.
Fourth, learn to say no. That you make money online doesn’t mean, you should carry all the problems in the world on your head. Learn to say no. It wouldn’t make you a bad person.
You are only saving yourself from issues that will swallow you. And know this, if you were broke, not making the type of money you make or not even existing, that problem you swallow yourself in, will be solved.
Fifth, if you do not invest in yourself, you will become irrelevant and your work will go extinct. No one likes old or dead methods. Learn to invest in yourself regularly.
Sixth, do not depend on one source of income. Even if you sell courses, sell your time, have other courses in the same niche, as well, recruit people to sell your products for you and pay them commissions. This will help you penetrate markets you never knew existed.
Seven, no matter how much energy you push into building social media accounts, build your email lists. Your social media accounts can go off one day. With all the bans and restrictions we see all over the place, you might not be so lucky with these restrictions. At that point you’ll lose your accounts, followers and all the hard-work gone. Though there are more points to discuss, I’ll stop here.
Sending someone you do not know “Hi” and expecting a response from them is not cool. This is why your message is not just ignored but sent to the spam folder of messenger..
Nothing wrong with saying, ‘Hello Kenneth, pleased to meet you, my name is David and I have been looking to connect with you for a while. I love what you are doing in the affiliate space, I hope you don’t mind my dropping in”
If anyone ignores this and you send them a message again and they ignore; and by ignore I mean reading and not responding, then let them be.
Two things I have learnt from selling products to top tier countries are:
- Selling “how to make money online” products will likely not get good sales, if you target just the USA. Almost every African I know targets the United States of America, but hey, there are other counties with disposable income that can actually buy what you’re selling, and these people are not in the USA alone. You see Asian countries, don’t joke with them. These guys are willing to spend.
-
If you plan to make good money from countries like the USA, UK and other English speaking top countries, sell to already existing businesses. That way you’re making good money for yourself and you don’t have to get yourself stressed over the matter.
I am not a screenshot guy, but if you look at the image attached, I monetize my list built for affiliate marketing, by selling some courses and rebranded software to them. If I can, you can, and hey while pricing your stuff, if you want to price at $199 and your offer is worth it, do it. If you want to price at $599 and it is worth it, do it.
There’s something earning in dollars does to your brain if you’re Nigerian. But the problem with us is, we are scared to price premium. And the more you get scared, the more money you lose.
