A Nigerian man identified as Barnabas Peter has filed online petition against YOTI Company over their refusal to accept the Nigerian NIN and Drivers License.
According to the Nigerian, “Yoti denied Nigerians to do/access KYC using National Identification Number, our own NIN is strong and is the only means of identification in Nigeria, most Nigerians could not afford to pay for International Passport (GreenCard) or Drivers Licence.
I am calling on all Nigerians to quickly sign this petition lets get for first 100 please…”
Stressing further, Barnabas Peter said, “We petition YOTI to authority not to cause any harm between them and Pi cryptocurrency but we are making a formal request from them.
“Do not follow those angry-bird and scardy-cats who are sending us empty threats and now blackmailing us on Pi network and some WhatsApp groups. Keep signing we almost reach 500
“Earlier today i received a lots of calls and emails from Yoti Digital System agents in United Kingdom to stop the open petition i hosted against Yoti.
“Some folks who are favouring Yoti are against our great Job, they are threatening to file a lawsuit against us. We are ready.
“Yesterday when i begin an open petition against Yoti in favour of Nigerians people from different country are supporting me, because they are facing same challenges.
“Yoti should accept our means of Identification or we campaigned of their off on play store and IOS. People from Pakistan, China etc. Are totally denied from YOTI”
