Imo State Governor Signs 4th Executive Bills into Law

His Excellency, the Governor of Imo state, Hon Emeka Ihedioha has said that his administration will invest in qualitative education at all levels.

 

 

Ihedioha made this known on Thursday while signing the Imo State Universal Basic Education (Amendment) Law No 30 of 2019, at the Executive Chambers of Government house, Owerri.

 

 

Governor Ihedioha had in the past signed into Law, The Imo State Public Procurement (Amendment) law No 27 of 2019, The Imo State Local Government Administration (Amendment) Law No 28 of 2019, and The Imo State Electoral (Amendment) Law No 8 of 2018, (Repeal) Law No 29 of 2019.

 

 

The Imo State Universal Basic Education Amendment Bill makes it the 4th Executive Bill to be signed into law by the governor. The bill will in no small measure strengthen the system to function effectively and encourage cooperate Governance.

 

 

With the Governor during the signing of the executive bills are the Speaker Imo State House of Assembly, Deputy Speaker, Clerk of the House, Special Adviser to the Governor on Assembly Matters, among others.
