Hushpuppi reportedly confesses to hacking Nigerians in Canada

Controversial Nigerian Journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has revealed that Ramon Abbas better known as Hushpuppi who was recently arrested over internet fraud has admitted to hacking into some Canadian bank accounts.

According to Kemi Olunloyo, Hushpuppi confessed that many of the accounts are owned by Nigerians residing in the country. Stating that the Instagram big boy is guilty of the crime leveled against him, subtly gave a note of warning to people who are praising him.

Citing an instance, the controversial journalist quizzed how people will feel if they work hard and someone withdrew all their hard earned money within a twinkle of an eye.

“HushPuppi has admitted to hacking Canadian bank accounts. Many with Nigerian names. Keep praising him. When you work hard for your dollars then wake up and see it all disappear when you were tricked to a BEC compromise.” she wrote.

Recall that Hushpuppi was arrested by the Dubai Police and extradited to the United States of America, where he was handed over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The 37-year-old and his gang were alleged to have defrauded 1,926,400 people from different parts of the world and stolen about 1.6bn Dirham (N168bn). The FBI alleged that Hushpuppi also attempted to dupe an English Premier League football club of £100m (N48.4bn).

He was arraigned in a Chicago court and later transferred to California for prosecution.
