A promise made and fulfilled once again as vibrantNigerian youths protesting against police brutality and extrajudicial killings, today, Monday (December 7, 2020) hit the streets again in different states across the country.
The phase 2 of the #EndSARS nationwide protest commenced in Abuja, Lagos, Oyo, Osun and Oyo States.
As gathered by Mentorslinks, the peaceful ‘unarmed’ protesters today, also returned to Lekki toll gate in Lagos, the scene of the alleged massacring of diplomatic protesters by Nigerian Security Agents on 20th October 2020.
Young men and women trooped out in Osogbo carrying different placards explaining the reasons for their actions.
The placards read; “We are not fighting for any political party”, “#End Bad Judiciary in Nigeria”, ” #End fake judicial panel of Inquiry in Osun”, “Unfreeze all the frozen account”, ” We are Nigerian youths”.
The youths converged at the Ogo-Oluwa area and marched to the Osun State House of Assembly.
Also, youths took to the streets of Ibadan, capital of Oyo state to demand and end to police brutality and bad governance.
In the Federal Capital Territory, massive turnout was recorded as young Nigerians joined their brothers and sisters in other states.
