The federal government of Nigeria has warned of a massive wave of Coronavirus infections in the next 2 weeks.

It was added that the elections in Edo state and Ondo state, as well as the recent protests, escalated the infections.

Nigerians are encouraged to kindly take all safety precautions so as to be able to reduce the spread of the virus.

Meanwhile in another viral story, the newly formed Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) unit of the Nigeria Police Force, on Monday (2nd October, 2020) began its training at the Police Mobile College in Nasarawa State.

Minister of Police Affairs, Muhammad Dingyadi, was present at the training ground to inspect the training exercise of over 400 personnel in Eggon.
