Comic Blogger, Correct Bro tackles President Buhari over 'insensitive' Independence Day Speech

According to Correct Bro, “It makes no sense for the price of Fuel to be cheaper than that of Saudi Arabia -Buhari, But it make sense for Saudi to have constant light while we spend our minimum wage buying fuel for generators.

It make sense for Saudi to pay 300k for minimum wage while we pay 30k. It make sense for Saudi to have good roads while we select the best pot holes to enter. It make sense for Saudi to provide free public health care service while we die daily due to quack hospitals

It make sense for Saudi to get good learning environment while we enjoy ASUU strike and poor education. It make sense for Saudi to be one of the best place for doing business while we kill SMEs. It make sense for Saidi to be a peaceful country while we die everyday from bandits, SARS, Boko Haram.

It make sense for Saudi to create jobs while our graduates sell perfume on WhatsApp status. The list goes on and on… Sir Buhari, please don’t make me vex”

Writing further on a fresh post, Blogger’ Correct Bro wrote; “The naira equivalence of the minimum wage in Egypt is N53,000 and that in Saudi Arabia is N366,000 but it makes sense for the minimum wage in Nigeria to be N30,000… Our Government only takes one side of the stories, the side that gives them more money.

The people in Egypt and Saudi Arabia don’t have generators at home and do not buy fuel for generator daily. Only people with automobiles buy fuel… Here in Nigeria, you pay high electricity tarrif and end up buying fuel the entire month. The amount of PMS sold daily in Nigeria is larger than that of Egypt and Saudi Arabia put together but then what do we do with the profits?”

Expressing concern over the rise of insecurity and police brutality in Nigeria, Correct Bro wrote;

“It is the 60th Independence day anniversary and POLICE is still part of our insecurity problems but government won’t do anything about it.

Boko Haram kills 20,
Bandits kill 15,
POLICE kills 10

What is the difference ?”

On the issue of Electricity failure in Nigeria, Correct Bro shared the photo below with the captain;

“So the electricity distribution company here sent me a bill of N17,972.28 last month alone after all efforts to get a pre paid meter failed.
.
Since as early as 6:00AM today, my generator has been running. Last month alone, I spent about N40,000 to provide electricity for myself and yet someone is sending me a bill of over 17k for the power he could have provided but didn’t.(To our able and capable government, this kind of things make sense in Nigeria).
.
It is Nigeria’s 60th Independence day anniversary and electricity pre paid meter is a technology Nigerians can’t have because the government would rather watch us get extorted, after all they get their cuts..
.
These people have failed us completely, they have blackmailed and devided us for long with region, religion and ethnicity. It is time for us to wake up and do what we should have done for long.
.
It is time for us to agree for once for the greater good.
.
